Assembled Nitrous Plate System From Nitrous Pro-FlowNitrous Pro-Flow Assembled Plate Systems are available for all popular four-barrel carb applications. The systems produce more horsepower and have better reliability than other systems.

The Assembled Plate System starts with the patented Nitrous Pro-Flow plate manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard coated for durability. The plate is then fitted with stainless steel spray bars featuring the exclusive, patented, Fan Spray Tube Technology?. Progressively angled orifices in the spray tubes provide complete 360-degree coverage within the intake plenum thus preventing corner cylinder lean-out. The patented burst panels built into the spacer help prevent damage to intake or carburetor should a fuel or ignition system failure cause a blow out through the top of the engine. High-flow fuel and nitrous solenoids combined with a nitrous purge solenoid are pre-wired and pre-plumbed on a patent-pending bracket. The wiring terminates in a six-prong weatherpack connector. Stainless steel hard lines are plumbed into the plate and unique inlet fittings enhance metering capabilities by eliminating expansions in the system that can vary nitrous flow.

The Wilson Thrasher intake manifold: very big news for 5.9L ‘03–’07 Cummins turbo diesels Print E-mail

Wilson, a leading name in performance and racing induction systems, has expanded its repertoire and announced an amazing new intake system for all 5.9 liter common-rail Cummins engines from 2003-2007.

Depending upon the state of tune, the Thrasher can generate in excess of 300 extra ft-lb of torque, or with lighter throttle use, the equivalent in fuel savings.

In contrast with the OEM arrangement, this new induction system provides greater equality of air-fuel distribution, especially in the cruise zone of 2,000 to 2,250 rpm.  As a result, the Thrasher generates not only amazing gains in both torque and fuel economy but also improves horsepower output, lowers exhaust gas temperatures, reduces exhaust emissions, and improves drivability.

WM Billet Alum Open Carb Spacers Print E-mail

Wilson Manifolds builds several styles of lightweight billet aluminum carb spacers, but they are most well known (especially in NASCAR circles) for their open spacers that increase plenum volume and move the throttle blades away from the roof of the manifold runners. This allows the air/fuel mixture to turn more easily into the runners for improved distribution and flow. Open spacers typically add power to the mid range and top end of the power band.

Wilson Manifolds, induction systems leader for championship race teams around the world, offers high tech carburetor spacers that can actually add up to as much as 37 horsepower. Wilson Manifolds has spent more than 30 years designing a spacer that delivers more horsepower and improves throttle response and airflow throughout the RPM range. Computer-generated, variable-radius, taper design improves the airflow through the carburetor as well as the air/fuel distribution into the manifold. Part throttle is improved by careful redirection of airflow caused by the angled throttle blades. Velocity is reduced as throttle increases thus promoting a smooth transition to full throttle and better distribution to each runner. Flow at full throttle is increased by as much as 110 CFM.
